YOU WANT TO KNOW:

“What would your job look like?”

You’ll design real hardware that will fly into space – satellites, integration and transport equipment, or deployers. From the first sketch to the final manufacturing documentation, you’ll be in charge of the entire development cycle.

In practice, this means:
↦ You’ll start by analyzing requirements and creating design concepts in close collaboration with the system engineer and project manager.
↦ Together with your team (up to 5 colleagues), you’ll iterate on design ideas and evaluate the pros and cons of each solution.
↦ In the next phase, you’ll prepare a detailed design and pass it on to the Structural and Thermal Analysis team. Based on their feedback, you’ll refine and optimize your design.
↦ You’ll also be responsible for documentation, close collaboration with procurement and communication with suppliers.
↦ You’ll even be involved in the real-life integration of the hardware you designed.

YOU FIGURE:

“What do we
expect from you?”

↦ You have at least 5 years of experience as a CAD designer – ideally in aerospace or automotive. Space experience is a plus, but not a must.
↦ You’ve worked on projects from concept to production.
↦ You’re confident using CAD software (SolidWorks is a plus).
↦ You can communicate confidently in English, both in writing and speaking.
↦ You’re detail-oriented, independent, and able to think logically across engineering disciplines.
↦ You can clearly explain and defend your design decisions.
↦ A technical university degree and hands-on experience are a plus.
↦ You’re willing to work onsite in our Brno office – close collaboration is key to our success.
