We partnered for one common goal: to collect geological data and uncover the unknown about the Moon surface and subsurface. The results of such a joint work will land on the Moon together with the Czech flag. The flag is a symbol representing the fact that countries from central and eastern Europe can do great missions and be part of the Space First League.
We’re a Czech company that supplies satellites and space probes. We design, produce, and assemble them precisely according to the demands of our customers from Europe, Africa, Asia, and Central and Southern America. We work on two EO satellites and one Moon probe. We know how to use state-of-the-art technologies such as additive manufacturing and we integrate these technologies into our products. And that is just a small example of what we do!
You’ll make sure our structures — from small satellites to mission hardware for Venus — can handle every phase of flight and operation.
Every project is different: sometimes we develop our own product and define requirements together with the system engineer and project team; other times we join large missions as partners with clearly defined specs.
Your tasks will include:
↦ Building FE models of mechanical structures
↦ Performing analyses (modal, harmonic, random vibration, quasi-static)
↦ Evaluating results and suggesting improvements
↦ Preparing technical documentation
↦ Working closely with CAD engineers, system engineers, project managers and the MAIT team
↦ Contributing to defining mechanical requirements
↦ You’ll use tools like HyperMesh, HyperView, Nastran, Motion View, Motion Solve
↦ 4+ years of experience in structural analysis (aerospace, automotive or related field)
↦ Professional command of English (spoken & written)
↦ Attention to detail, systematic mindset, and love for technical challenges
↦ The ability to see things in context and across disciplines
↦ Familiarity with standards (we use ECSS)
↦ A collaborative approach — communication, trust and respect are key for us
